note: hip circumference refers to the waistband across the top at full stretch. length refers to the top of the waistband down to the bottom of the short. 
for reference, i'm roughly 191cm tall and 95kg, with a ~104cm lower waist (where the top of my shorts sit) and i'm wearing a medium in these pics
